The Best of Classic Rock, R&B and Good-Time Music
Singer/Songwriter Chris Loid has been kicking around the Pacific Northwest Music Scene for over a decade...singing for nightclubs, weddings, corporate events, and wherever people will listen. His 5 octave range, combined with the power and quality of his voice gives him that "star" quality that is hard to find in your average local artist.
Chris has surrounded himself with four excellent musicians, with a combined total of 120+ years of playing and performing experience.
Doug Reeder has played in numerous bands around the Pacific NW, and now plays rhythm and lead guitar for the Chris Loid band. He is often referred to as "lightning fingers" Reeder for his amazing chops.
Tim Leitch, AKA "Spit Stix" played drums with the legendary LA Punk Band "Fear" for two decades, before embarking on a recording career in NYC. Moving to Portland in the mid-2000's, he provides that solid groove that makes crowds get to their feet.
Nicole Carlon has been involved with music, both as a vocalist and instrumentalist with various bands. She provides the low-end on Electric Bass, as well as background and some lead vocals.
Doug McCleary started playing around Portland in High School, many years ago. He has worked as a studio musician and engineer, as well as doing live work in a number of contexts. He plays keyboards for the Chris Loid Band
Together, Chris and his band create a sound and atmosphere that often borders on "magic." Quality music that will get you and your event on its feet and having fun.
